Before we take to the sea we walk on land
Before we create we must understand

Simon Mundy BA(hons) Dip Arch RIBA

Architect with over 20 years experience.  In that time I have worked on award winning designs: Brighton Museum & Art Gallery (Civic Trust awards 2003), London Coliseum (Civic Trust awards 2006). A winning Olympic masterplan for the London 2012 Bid and many other successful projects: The Vauxhall end re-development at the Oval; Centre Court roof, Wimbledon, Slimbridge WWT workers housing, and Two community self build projects using the Walter Segal system.  I have built new homes and extended, remodelled and adapted many homes.

Approach:

I recognise my responsibility to the environment so always design from first principles. This way I ensure best practices from the outset rather than applying secondary green ‘bolt-ons’ to help improve the performance of our buildings.   I recognise the responsibility to promote the sustainable use of the world’s natural resources and take a resourceful approach to both design and construction.  We try and avoid as much building waste as possible and promote recycling and reuse where ever possible.

Clients:

I'm proud to have received many repeat commissions from clients, which I consider a testament to exceeding their expectations.
