I have 30+ years of experience. I specialise in residential design providing architectural services for new build homes, extensions, loft conversions, home renovations and retrofit. I have a proven track record of successful planning applications for contemporary and modern design within conservation areas. My approach to design is resourceful and sustainable. Producing homes that are joyful, robust and sustainable into the future.
At the core of each project are clients’ requirements and a commitment to explore opportunities to meet the brief and exceed expectations. I give practical and useful advice that enables my clients to understand the design process and make informed decisions. I’m committed to achieving best value through creative, and thoughtful design.
I work with creative and trusted craftspeople, consultants, and contractors. Collaborating is key to the design process.
Based in Bristol I cover the South West and London.
Services:
I’m guided by the RIBA Plan of Works. I work on all work stages including; feasibility studies, concept design, planning applications, building regulations application, production and assembly information for pricing, construction and on site works including contract management and site supervision.
Sustainability:
I am committed to reducing the impact of buildings on the environment. I take a resourceful approach to both design and construction. I follow the principles of retrofit for all renovations and PassivHaus for new build.
We try and avoid as much building waste as possible and promote recycling and reuse whenever possible.
